The Majectic Sea Caves of Ayia Napa
Biggest letdown ever: Omitting Ayia Napa’s sea caves from world’s seven wonders! This magnificent place is situated in Cape Greco, a relatively unspoiled area where tens of majestic sea caves are found at the bottom of steep cliffs, creating a spectacular setting.
The waters there are crystal clear so you can easily see the rocks below the sea level while the view from the cliffs is just breathtaking.
Some caves can go as deep as 80 metres, so are you brave enough to go inside and explore them?
Popular activities at the sea caves include snorkelling, diving and fishing. Additionally, the area has become a frequented place for photography – and more specifically wedding photography – as the scenery becomes particularly romantic during sunset!
Even though the road leading to the sea caves is a dirt road, you can easily reach the place by car, bike or on foot. If you prefer renting a four-wheel motorbike that’s even better!
We are telling you, this is not something to miss out!
