Konnos Beach – An earthly paradise
Konnos beach is an earthly paradise found by Kape Greco, midway the towns of Protaras and Ayia Napa. And it’s not one to miss!
This magnificent beach boasts two little bays framed by beautiful cliffs and hillsides, which protect the area from winds while there are no waves at all!
Whether you choose to reach the beach by car, bike or even on foot, Konnos is easily accessible. However, bear in mind that the beach becomes extremely busy during summer months, especially on weekends. Thus, try to wake up and arrive there early in the morning – despite your hangover from the night before! This is the only way to nab your place by the shore and secure the best sunbathing spot!
Leave your vehicle at the top of the hill, where you will find parking spaces available and take the wooden stairs which lead to the beach.
Don’t forget to have your camera ready, as you wouldn’t want to miss capturing that mesmerizing view and later brag about it to your family and friends!
Tens of little white boats can be seen from above in those infinite blue waters of the Mediterranean sea!
The beach has a small kiosk, where you can find a variety of snacks and drinks if you find yourself thirsty or hungry. We suggest getting the famous Frape, a delicious iced coffee to keep you cool while enjoying the hot sun!
For those who are into water sports, Konnos bay will not disappoint you as there is a range of water sports activities on offer at decent prices!
We also suggest following the nature trail for some incredible views!
Its incredible crystal blue waters and soft sands leave us speechless!
Idyllic isn’t it?
